Custom SIgns - FAQ's
Q. How long does it take to make my SIGN?
*Shipping is via Canada Post, where shipping options are given at checkout.
Q. What materials are used to make my SIGN?
A. All of our indoor signs are made from baltic birch or pine ply, spruce or pine boards, and/or MDF (3D cuts). Outdoor signs are made with cedar where possible.
Frames are made with spruce or pine strips, or cedar lathe.
*Signs are sealed with indoor or outdoor topcoat for protection
Since we use real wood, knots, cracks, or imperfections may be visible (particularly in the frames).
We make no effort to conceal these as we feel that it adds character to your one-of-a-kind piece.
Q. How do I hang my sign?
Most signs are ready to hang with appropriate hangers.
For heavy signs french cleat hangers work best. For lighter signs, sawtooth hangers or d-rings work best. For word cutouts, either d-ring hangers or 3M Command strips. Alternatively, for cutouts you can place small nails in your wall in inconspicuous places to hang it from.
Q. Where is LOCAL PICK UP?
A. Local pickup is available from our home workshop in Clayton Heights, Surrey, BC.
Please be prepared to arrange pick up your order promptly once it is completed. We do not have the space to store your items safely for long periods of time. If your order is not picked up within one month the following will occur:
- Your order will be cancelled.
- For non-custom orders, you will be refunded the total of your order less a $15 storage fee.
- For custom orders, no refund will be provided.
- Future orders may be refused.
